Alma, I’m sorry for your loss. I’m Jewish so I our customs are completely different. But after the first year, there is usually a remembrance on the anniversary of the death with prayers and candle lighting. Maybe you could speak with someone to find out if there are any alterations to the custom for modern times and people’s more hectice lives?
