Lets Make Some Music
I love to sing. I think Filipinos are naturally music lovers. We love to sing love songs… We love to rock… :)
I used to play the piano as a child, but I love the guitar the best. Although certainly no John Mayer nor a Gabe Bondoc or a Marié Digby, but I love the way a guitar sound and has always loved to sing along with an acoustic guitar as an accompaniment. My love of music stemmed from my growing up with brothers who plays the piano and guitar. There was always music when I was growing up.
I used to sing duets with my brothers. We used to sing all those 80′s music, Roxette, Bruce Springsteen, some Barry Manilow’s and even Basia, Whitney Houston and Bon Jovi. I started with the piano at the age of 6, and the guitar at the age of 14. I was professionally taught piano-wise, but self taught with the guitar. I started learning the guitar when I realized that the guitar is way cooler than the piano. :)
Tomorrow, I am checking out Perfect Pitch to check the prices of acoustic guitars. I want a black acoustic guitar. I am also checking out online guitar sites. Anyone have any suggestion?

Being an online worker can be very rewarding, not to mention convenient! I have been working online for quite some time now, and the best thing about online working is the fact that I never have to leave my house in order to earn a living. Talk about working on your pajamas, or even on your nickers… whichever is comfortable for you should work. ![]()
You certainly needed to be disciplined enough to follow schedules, honor deadlines and follow through every bit of task for which ever projects or clients you are working. But on my case, I use several productivity tools to track my work as well as keep tabs of what is needed at home as I am a single parent to 4 young children.
Being a mother, a teacher as well as a friend to my children take a toll on me, believe it or not. It takes alot of time to track each one of my children especially when almost all of them are attending school. Thankfully,l having a job online allows me to take care of my family as well as their need as they come at all times.
Privacy in the Entertainment Industry: Is there such a thing?
I have had my share of movie stars sighting. One thing an entertainer can expect from me– I would never sneak in to take their photos or mob them while they are shopping or eating. I remembered shopping in a Benetton outlet in Manila when I noticed a woman huddled in the corner. She was wearing a scarf and being cornered by 3 people. It was Ai Ai delas Alas. Poor Ai Ai was trying to run away from the mob.
I worked for a huge firm long time ago, and was given opportunities to dine with movie stars side by side. Given the rare opportunity to meet and talk to them in person has given me one conclusion, I feel sorry for them because they do not have privacy and can never enjoy the little joys us non-showbiz entities enjoy.
Aga Mulach, Charlene Gonzales and Jolina Magdangal once went to Bago City to perform the play Jose Rizal. I was one of the entourage, and I saw how hard it must be to be a star. It took 45 minutes for Jolina to get to the door. The mob has blocked all doors and we had trouble getting her inside the darn place. On the way inside the poor girl was groped, hair pulled, pinched, screamed and squealed at. She tried to appear like the mob did not bother her, but I guess the fear of disapproval and disdain of fans has kept her from frowning and screaming back at them to give her space stopped her. She continued to smile setting aside her discomfort. Once in her dressing area, she crumbled and it was obvious that she was tired and frazzled. I cannot imagine living her life every single day.

Darn it!
Yesterday, I felt a pimple trying to break out of my skin. I hate pimples. I was actually lucky enough to be one of those people who rarely get any breakouts. But when I get one, its usually one of those cherry tomato like pimple. Boy, the side of my face where it decided to crop out hurts like hell…
Any advice?
